That's pronounced: bla-goya-blog.That's right, the embattled senator from Illinois has made the Rufner family blog. Why?
Because our sister-in-law Kristin Lelm sang for him in early December and then got her pic with him.
The full story is that she and some classmates were hired to sing at a Christmas party in Chicago. This they did. But then they were asked to stick around and sing a few more songs for a special guest - yep. The Gov himself.
They sang 'Jailhouse Rock'. 'I fought the law and the law won'. And 'It's beginning to look a lot like sing-sing.'
O.K. They didn't sing any of those, but they did get their pic with the guy after they sang for him.
To put it all further into context, this was in the days immediately following his arrest and bail-release. He wished his guests a Merry Christmas. Assured them that none of what they were hearing was true. And said that he hoped they were all having a better week than he was. What a story huh?
